Evacuation Orders and Warnings

As of 10:00 am on Thursday, March 23, 2023, the Monterey County Sheriff's Office has lifted the Evacuation Orders for the community of Pajaro effective immediately.

Please go to the Recovery portion of the website for information on safe reentry and how to begin assessing and clearing impacted homes.

The County of Monterey wants to emphasize that emergency shelters are available to any and all resident impacted by flooding, regardless of immigration status.

  • Shower Facilities: closed as of Monday, May 15, 2023
  • Pajaro Community Resource Center: closed as of Monday, May 15, 2023
